Lynn Kaye has completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practioner and Certified Investment Management Analyst certifications, Senior Consultants and Critical Elements programs at the Wharton Executive Education School at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, she attended the Cannon Trust School of Estate Planning. She is Registered through LPL Financial as Investment Advisor Representative in CA and MN. She holds the following registrations: series 7 securities, series 24 Registered Principal through LPL Financial, insurance and annuities representative. She is registered for securities in the following states: CA, AZ, FL, IL, MN, WI, TX, KS, CO, ND, OR.
Since 1982, Ms. Kaye has worked in the investment industry as a Vice President/ Financial Consultant/ Senior Consultant/Investment Consulting Services for a Major Wall Street Firm and a Vice President of Institutional Sales and Marketing for local money management firm, prior to founding Kaye Family Wealth Management. She has enjoyed teaching investment classes at various colleges and local corporations. During her career she has worked with individual investors and families, foundations, corporations, public funds, professional associations, Taft-Hartley and Health and Welfare Plans.
Ms. Kaye was selected by FINANCE & COMMERCE as an honoree for the 2011 Top Women in Finance award. The award recognizes the efforts of women who are making a notable contribution to their professions and communities. Four CEOs, six partners and shareholders, several presidents and senior vice presidents, and a few business owners are among the 2011 honorees. Kaye Family Wealth was chosen in 2011 as a NABCAP Premier Advisor and listed in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. NABCAP, a nationally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to serve the needs of the investing public by helping identify top wealth managers. NABCAP and its Board of Directors created an unaffiliated evaluation process in which 20 categories of practice management are assessed. Participating practices may be published and will be compared versus their peers locally, regionally and nationally. Distinguishing characteristics of an advisory practice will include in part, though not exclusively: Team dynamics-who comprises the team, years of experience, credentials/designations, average AUM per client, planning/investment/risk philosophy, fee/cost structure, customer service, U4/ADV status.
Ms. Kaye was voted a Five Star Wealth Manager in the Twin Cities for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 and featured in Mpls/St.Paul and Twin Cities Magazines. Award based on 10 objective criteria associated with providing quality services to clients such as credentials, experience, and assets under management among other factors. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 Five Star Wealth Managers.
Ms. Kaye is Branch Manager with LPL Financial and has passed her qualifications to be a Registered Principal through LPL Financial.
Ms. Kaye has worked in her community and participated as a committed volunteer and board director for several non-profits.
